 I hope that people read this and realize the weight of both words said and unsaid carry equal weight in this online forum. We may not meet on a face to face situation but the conversations, the real ones not the roleplays, are just as valid...Placing myself in this context, I can readily say that my happy-go-lucky demeanor is equal parts the "real me", and a shield to protect myself from any potential hurt that may or may not come my way.
I admire your honesty and willingness to lay your soul bare on your blog, dear Bev.
I know that feeling of not being heard or seen nor wanted all too well from my past...

 A wise woman once dropped by my spot.....and told me , " you are stronger than you know".

I must now remind her of that and send her to re look at that last paragraph of the Karn post.

 I tend to always put on a 'happy face' on here but that's not always the case in the real world.
Living with chronic pain for 30 years really takes it's toll. It's nothing compared to what you have endured over the years.

 I read your blogs , all of them.. from way back, until this. Reflecting, I can see myself in some of those statements you have made.. mostly those relating to how I have perceived you as strong when you are in defense of another, and silent when you are the one being berated. I myself have said and done things that were harsh, almost cruel to you, I see now. I would like to apologize now for not taking a moment to look at you, and try to see what it is you are truly feeling in those moments.
Thanks for coming back to see us. I have always thought your real beauty was on the inside, even though I am am one of the lucky ones to know your face and sweet smile..
