+++ A brilliant idea!!  , All the old gals in my neighborhood are sending their husbands and me to it. They are done shopping, but it will get peace and quiet for the day for them . Do you have anything like this in your community? If there was or is one would you use it?  Would there be a good idea for one for the ladies to give the guys a break? If so what would it be like?          |

I'm not a Veteran never having served. So I really couldn't say for sure if the many local VFW Posts in town do something like this or no. Though it sounds like a good idea to get the hubby's out of the house for the day for their wives benefit. The reverse also being true. The guys being able to get away from their wives for a day and have some fun.  Thanks to all who served!

Where I used to work, there was a Michael's craft store next door. If I had known how popular our place would become, I would have put a bar in place of Michaels. It would have been the Pine Tree Pub: juicy burgers, pizza, beer, nuts, and several wall TVs. Order at the bar, clean up your trash and relax (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
