A bit of a glitch

I got a bit of a shock yesterday. My neighbor (whose wife passed away 5 years ago) is visiting a and her family in Puerto Rico. He is in his late 80's. Apparently he had a stroke yesterday. He is in a hospital and stable but does have side effects. The conditions at hospitals there are less than they are here. The best possibility will be if he can be transferred to the Veterans Hospital there. Unfortunately the family there does not know the way to work the system at the Veterans hospital. The daughters here in New Jersey can not get away to assist. One has a brand new baby and the other is away on a business trip. So I am elected to go, leaving Monday morning early and hopefully coming back Friday or Saturday. I will try to post somethings from there, time permitting. So I will be off to see how he is and see how to get him transferred. I will also try to get caught up on commenting back to you on previous posts, I am terribly behind. It is not the way I wanted to go back to Puerto Rico, but it is a must.
